Can I use Quidax without verifying my account?

Yes, you can use Quidax to receive cryptocurrencies, trade pairs, and store cryptocurrencies without verifying your account but you will be unable to make any withdrawal out of Quidax if you do not verify your account.

The Basic Level verification allows you to fully transact on your account without restrictions.

Here's how to do your Basic Level verification on Quidax.

How to do this on the Quidax app

• On the home page, click “start verification.”

If you don't see the above image, then click on the Human icon on the top left of your screen and then click on Unverified right by the side of your UID and under your username

• Select the first option that says “all countries except USA” if you are a non-USA resident, and click “continue.”

• Once you do this, a list of the required documents will appear. Click “continue” and proceed to upload your details as requested.

Please note that as a Nigerian, your BVN will be required in the Non-Doc Verification part and your government issued ID (live picture) will be required in the Identity Document part.

How to do this on the website (desktop)

• Click on the human icon on the top right of the page, right by the side of English

• Click on Identity Verification

• Click on Verify Now, under the Basic KYC
• If you are using a laptop, a page will open up asking if you want to continue on the device you are currently on or switch to using the phone. If you want to continue on your laptop, click Continue on this device. If you wish to do this on your phone, please click on Continue on phone. If you continue on phone, you will be required to scan a QR code.
• Ensure the issuing country is the country that issued the ID you are presenting and then upload the document. Once you select the ID you want to use, click on Continue

• On the next page, go ahead to upload your ID document the right way. You can click on View our guidelines to direct you on how to submit it the right way.

• Take a real-time picture or selfie video as instructed on the next page. Please ensure your device has access to your camera before doing this. If you are using a laptop, you can switch to your phone to get a better picture by clicking on Continue on phone and scanning the QR code

• Once your liveness check is complete and your ID is verified, your basic level verification will be done almost immediately.

How long does identity verification take?

Verification typically gets reviewed in about 10mins. It will only take longer if the system is unable to verify your ID and your liveness check fails. If your verification exceeds 30mins, please reach out to us on support@quidaax.com
